Is Nugard safe for Kittens?
Kittens may be treated with Nugard Spot On from 9 weeks of age. For control of roundworms and hookworms, kittens require worming at 6 and 8 weeks of age it is recommended to use a specific kitten product registered for that purpose. Once treatment with Nugard Spot On every month is commenced, worms will be continuously controlled.
How do I choose between Orange and Purple?
For kittens and cats 4kg and under, orange is your best friend. For cats, larger than 4 kg, you require the purple one.
If you don’t know how much your cat weighs, the best way to find out is at your vet. Or if you’re just at home, weigh yourself holding the cat, and then put the cat down and weigh yourself again. The difference between the two is how much your cat weighs. Simple.
How often should I apply Nugard?
All New Guard products need to be applied just once a month. For super simple, broad-spectrum coverage, it’s the easiest and cheapest way to keep your cats safe from the nasties.
Can I bathe my cat after application?
