Treatment Schedule –
- Treatment may begin at any time of the year
- The product should be administered at regular monthly intervals
- Treatment should continue without interruption all year round – breaks in protection can allow for an environmental flea burden to re-establish
- If a flea infestation already exists, fleas can continue to emerge into the environment for weeks to months because of the continuing development of existing flea eggs, larvae and pupae already present before the time of treatment; therefore, it may take more than a single treatment to achieve acceptable flea control
- To minimise the likelihood of flea re-infestation, it is important to treat all dogs and cats within the household
- Simparica TRIO is approved for use in dogs only.
Dosage
- Administer monthly
- Chews should not be divided into smaller portions
