Avitrol Bird Mite & Lice Spray is a pyrethrin-based spray for the control of lice and mites in all caged bird species and their environment.

Safe and economical, it comes in a convenient, ready-to-use spray bottle for easy application directly onto your bird.

Avitrol Bird Mite & Lice Spray can also be applied directly on all cage surfaces, nesting boxes and perches.

Containing active constituent of 0.5g/L pyrethrins and 5g/L piperonyl butoxide, Avitrol Bird Mite & Lice Spray is effective at controlling mites and lice.

It recommended for all caged birds exhibiting symptoms of mite or lice infestations, as well as when introducing new birds to prevent introducing any new infestations.

Directions for Use

1. May also be applied to cage surfaces, nesting boxes and perches.
2. Prior to use, remove all food and water from cages or area to be treated.
3. Hold the spray roughly 40cm away from the bird and spray directly onto the feathers, Avoiding the area around the eyes.
4. To avoid re-infestation treat the caged area, any perches, nest boxes or places where the bird like to sit as mites will lay their eggs in secluded places.
5. Can be applied twice weekly for 2-3 weeks if necessary.
6. Repeat as necessary when scratching or biting symptoms re-occur.
